Having issues resetting your password? Take a look at the scenarios below to troubleshoot issues with the password reset process.
I’m not receiving the password reset email
Check junk or spam folders
Sometimes, emails from unknown senders can be directed to your junk or spam folders. Make sure to check these folders for the reset email, as well as any separate inbox folders you may have.
Check your email address
Typos happen! Double check you've entered your email address correctly. If you suspect there was a typo in your email address when you signed up, please Get in Touch and we will assist you further.
The password reset link doesn’t work
Check the time
Password reset links are active for 3 hours after requesting them. If your link is older than this, please request a new one.
Check your browser
Ensure you are opening the reset password link in one of the supported browsers listed below:
- Chrome 110+ (Windows/Mac)
- Firefox 110+ (Windows/Mac)
- MS Edge 110+ (Windows/Mac)
- Safari 14+ (Mac)
You could also try using a different browser or opening your current browser in incognito mode. Here are the instructions for using incognito mode in the browsers we support:

- Turn on Safari Private Browsing
Turn off your VPN
Showmax cannot be accessed through proxy or unblocking (VPN) services. These include DNS or VPN services (e.g. UnoTelly) and data compression proxy services (e.g. Google Data Saver). Turn off your VPN while trying to access the password reset link.
