Showmax cannot be accessed through proxy or unblocking (VPN) services. These include DNS or VPN services (e.g. UnoTelly) and data compression proxy services (e.g. Google Data Saver).
If you are in a country where Showmax is available and get an error that a proxy or unblocking service has been detected, please disable the service and try again.
How to ensure you are not connected to a VPN
You can use websites that check your IP address to see if you're connected through a VPN. Websites like whatismyip.com or ipinfo.io will show your current IP address and whether it's associated with a VPN.
