How do I switch off autoplay?

Showmax has two kinds of automation when you play videos:

 

• Autoplay Next Video: By default, when you're finished watching an episode on Showmax, the next episode of the series will start.
• Automatic Trailers: By default, trailers and previews for Showmax content will start automatically in the background.

 

To switch off any of these automatic features, follow the steps below:

 

1. Log into showmax.com or launch the Showmax app.
2. Access the Profiles screen via the Profile icon on the nav bar.
3. Choose the profile you want to edit.
4. Click on the pencil icon below the profile name.
5. In Autoplay Preferences, turn off the toggles for Autoplay Next Video and Automatic Trailers.
