Why does the Showmax app for Android request permission to access my Android device's microphone?

<p>On certain Android devices, the Showmax app for Android supports voice search, this requires access to the microphone. This is optional and can be turned on or off in system settings.</p>

On your card statement, after 'Showmax',  you'll see a 5-character billing descriptor next to the item you have been charged for. For example: 'Showmax 3BY4F'.

How do I find my billing descriptor?
