Showmax.com isn’t working


If you are having trouble streaming content on Showmax.com, here are some troubleshooting tips to help you resolve the issue. 
 
If you’re having problems with video playback or buffering, take a look at Troubleshooting video issues on Showmax.

If that doesn’t help, try the below steps to help get you back to streaming your favourite content:

Sign out of your Showmax account 

Sometimes simply signing out and signing back in can resolve a variety of issues. Follow the instructions below to sign out of your Showmax account:

  1. From your watch page, go to Account via the top-right menu bar.
  2. Once in your Account, click on the profile icon in the top-right menu bar.
  3. Choose Sign out from the drop-down menu. 
  4. Wait a few minutes and sign back in. 

Check JavaScript in enabled

JavaScript needs to be enabled on your web browser in order for you to watch content on Showmax.com. For instructions on how to do this, take a look at How do I enable JavaScript?

Switch your browser

Try streaming from a different browser or in Incognito mode.
