If you are in a country where Showmax is available and receive an error saying the service is unavailable in your country, it means we aren't able to accurately determine your location.
This can happen if the geo-location of the IP address you are using is associated with a country other than the one you are in. Proximity to the border of neighbouring countries might also be a factor.
Try the following:
- Ensure that DNS or VPN services (e.g. UnoTelly) are disabled.
- Ensure that data compression proxy services (e.g. Google Data Saver) are disabled.
- Try connecting to Wi-Fi, or a different source of Wi-Fi.
- Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to verify the exact location of your IP address.
