In the season four premiere, Michael believes the office might be cursed in the wake of a freak accident. Later on, Jim and Pam's relationship might be on the verge of being discovered.
In the second part of the season premiere, the 5k fun run finally takes place and Dwight and Angela have a falling out over a cat. Later, Jim and Angela are eventually caught and can no longer hide their relationship.
There's a new boss in town- much to the dismay of Michael and many employees, Ryan returns to the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin to bring the company into the digital age.
In the second part, Michael and Dwight devise a plan to win back the clients. Michael is also having a hard time embracing Ryan's plan, creating conflict among the employees.
The Dunder Mifflin Infinity website is launching, and Michael is excited about going to the big launch party in New York. At the same time, Angela plans a satellite party for the Scranton branch.
In the second part of the launch party, things get a little awkward as Michael finds he's not on the corporate's VIP list. Later on, Toby takes some online driving lessons.
As Jan renovates the condo, Michael confronts his growing debt in every way he can. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam spend a night at Dwight's family farm.
In part two, Michael tries to combat his growing debt by asking employees for loans.
When the Scranton branch is asked to participate in a Dunder Mifflin ad, Michael seizes his chance to exhibit his creativity in the wonderful world of advertising.
Battle of the Branches! Rashida Jones guest stars as Karen, who tries to woo Stanley away from Scranton. Michael fights back, dragging her ex, Jim, into his war.
In the Special Green Week episode, Ryan excludes Michael from a corporate wilderness retreat, and Michael heads into the woods for his survival adventure.
Michael finds himself between a rock and a hard place when Jan sues Dunder Mifflin, and Michael is deposed as a witness.
Guess who's coming to dinner? Pam and Jim find they have run out of excuses and are forced to go to Jan and Michael's house for dinner.
Michael's fascination with a woman modelling a chair in an office supply catalogue makes him feel things he hasn't felt before.
Michael and Dwight decide to surprise Ryan in New York for a night of clubbing and meet his friends.
When Stanley snaps at Michael during a meeting, Michael tries to give Stanley an attitude adjustment. Meanwhile, Dwights flips a vehicle that he bought from Andy.
Jim hits the links with Andy and Kevin to try and land his biggest client ever. Meanwhile, Michael sets up a booth at a local job fair, which happens to be at Pam's alma mater, to find an intern.
It's time to say goodbye! It's Toby's goodbye party at Dunder Mifflin and Michael demands a huge celebration that matches the joy in his heart.
Emotions run high as the employees say their final goodbyes to their beloved Toby in the season finale.
