Between Worlds, Episode 1

As a young boy, Lamide witnesses his mother fall prey and lose all she has to fraud. Unable to bear the loss and the hard times that follow, Lamide's mother falls ill.

A confused and bewildered Lamide is thrown into the past, this world is a construct of Esu, wearing nothing but his mother's necklace.

Abidogun is furious about Alade and Ajihun's escape. The escapees, Ajihun and Alade, are recaptured by Orobiyi's men. Orobiyi interrogates them as he mistakes them for Adewusi's people.

The king's council have not really accepted him and or his rule. This resentment is also extended to his brother Orobiyi whom they have plotted to bar from sitting in council with them.

Adufe is finding it harder and harder to fight her affection for Orobiyi, the King's brother. Both Orobiyi and Abidogun disagree over how to attack Adewusi and his rebels,

Adufe is shocked to receive her maid's finger delivered to her doorstep. She is broken, blaming herself for her death.
