Mogale's day goes from bad to worse when the very thing he treasures most is threatened. And things don't get any better when ghosts from his past come calling on him.
Mogale is finally home despite his strong feelings against his family. He is still curious about the father he never knew.
Mogale receives some good news but it is short lived as something sinister seems to be at play as it creeps out of his dreams and into reality.Chigani enlists a dangerous ally.
As Mogale achieves an unlikely triumph, a storm is brewing in Hatshipomo. Meanwhile, the flaming torch is lit. Will ancient anger and superstitions deliver another unlikely victory?
Chigani starts to execute his plan. Mogale's remains cynical, but his stance towards witchcraft is questioned when he comes face to face with the kind of proof that leaves no room for doubt.
