A bittersweet season premiere. Mama V and Tat Jafta's dream is realised, but only one of them is there to witness it. The Jafta and Bala children unite for Tat Jafta's final send-off.
As Zwai advocates for transparency, Loyiso questions him about his fourth baby. Lazola wants a family meeting with the Balas. Phelo suffers an alcohol relapse with dire consequences.
Mama V lays Tat Jafta's body to rest on top of his first wife. She promises to fulfil all the promises they made to one another. Meanwhile, Pinky ends her on-and-off 10-year relationship.
Zwai and Pinky's plans to rally their siblings and buy a family home for their mother are questioned. Mama can't bear living far from her stepchildren.
Jennifer warns of the risks her family and the Bala siblings face if they buy a house together. As the brothers reunite to perform, Zwai confronts Phelo about a hostile text.
A reluctant Mama V visits Jen to address the brewing issues between Pinky and Jen. She feels the two adult women must mend their ways. The brothers give their band one last chance.
The family views the house Pinky and Zwai want them to buy in honour of Arthur Bala. The mixed views put this dream in jeopardy. Jen, Zwai, and Loyiso address their strained relationship.
Mama V advises Zwai on formally finalising his divorce from Ayanda if he wants to move on with his new lover. The renovations at Mama V's house spark differing viewpoints.
Phelo gains the courage he needs to confront his oldest siblings, but his bravery is met with disdain as it leads to a disagreement, which Loyiso later tries to calm.
The siblings come together to create a band. Everyone collaborates to surprise Mama V with a new car, but the day quickly takes a turn when Phelo picks a bone with Pinky amidst celebrations.
The siblings meet to discuss concerns over Phelo's drinking. Mama V and Phelo attend his uncle's funeral despite the absence of his other siblings.
Concerns about Phelo's drinking follow him to his father's side of the family. The Family kicks off their family retreat with different accounts and sentiments around Phelo and his life.
Seeking to uphold the honour in his father's name, Zwai consults his uncles to help him navigate the family's challenges with Loyiso, Jen, and Phelo.
The family meet up to have their final supper. Mama V wants her children to understand that she is a Jafta and will observe their customs. Jen apologises for losing her temper.
