Malik tries infiltrating Sector Four but is met with the locals and law enforcement resistance. A familiar face is revealed as being behind the Governor's kidnapping.
As riots continue, the deputy Governor gets word that one of their cabinet members is part of the kidnapping plot. Malik is determined to rescue Debra from the Hive.
The Governor's office pay the full ransom to the Hive, but the exchange goes horribly wrong. The Governor's office is sure there is a mole amongst them, and an arrest is made.
The riots peak after public servants realizes the Governor's office paid the ransom. Sinjin and Malik stage a valiant effort to save the Governor.
It's a party as former Governor Okusimba meets up with the "Hive" boys at an undisclosed location to consolidate the ransom as they eat and drink.
After spotting Malik, Elijah warns Okusimba of Malik's pending arrival. As the Hive crew fall off one by one, they realise the food they ate at the party was poisoned.
The four billion shillings are blown up, and the fire leads the authorities to the hideout. Governor Nerima is back in the office, determined to find out who helped Okusimba.
With his family held hostage, Malik is given an ultimatum, kill the Governor, or his family dies. Malik reaches the Governor and pleads for an audience with her.
News of the Governor's death spreads through the county like wildfire, and the deputy Governor is set to be sworn in. The plan seems complete.
In a desperate attempt to salvage the situation, Ox reaches out to an old army general on the outskirts of town. Plan B is in play.
Okusimba is given the right of way to the airport. Malik takes one for the team as he sends the security forces on a wild goose chase.
Security forces intercept Okusimba at the airport. A gun battle ensues, and Malik says goodbye to his wife and son as he attempts to save thousands of lives.
- Amid civil unrest and discontent, a disgraced security officer is compelled to save the governor and her chief of staff (his estranged wife) from a local terror group that has kidnapped them.
