Mr Van As launches a challenge to take over the hotel and the staff try to get rid of him with a plan that could cost them their jobs. Meanwhile, Thomas goes through hell at head office.
Dany and Malanie start the Fransen hotel pod cast. Ferdi wants to get rid of the new swimming pool. Thomas doesn't know how he really feels about Jony.
The hotel gets its liquor license back, but loses it again the very same day. Danny wants to know why Malanie is angry at him. Thomas overplays his hand with Jony.
Danny organises a romantic double date for him and Malanie with Jaap and Jony. Thomas tries his best to derail the evening. Ferdi and Uncle Dirk launch a rescue mission for Brenda and Manie.
The Fransen is being considered for a big group booking but Ferdie's old foe tries to sabotage the booking. Thomas tries to put an end to Malanie and Danny's romantic interludes.
Thomas is getting serious to steal Jony's heart after he learned that she almost moved in with Jaap. Danny and Malanie both forget their anniversary and try to make up for it with a surprise.
Ferdie and Thomas hires Amalia Uys as presenter of their marketing video for The Fransen. Danny is very upset about this and asks Malanie to become his agent.
It's time for another Bingo-night. Thomas and Jaap become friends, with drastic consequences. A court case is opened on Bingo-night and Danny and Malanie must play lawyer-lawyer.
The staff prepare for the final inspection of the 'Rondrits'-tender. Stephano blackmails Danny to sabotage the inspection.
Ferdie is offered shares in the hotel but must go and see the bank about his finances. Danny and Malanie try to discover their love language. Jony and Thomas want to bury the hatchet.
Thomas decides to spoil the staff with a well-deserved break - in the middle of a deserted veld. After a misunderstanding everyone is stuck without food, until Danny steps in as unlikely hero.
It's almost Christmas and time for "Kersies, Versies en Kombersies" at the Fransen. Everything runs smooth until Bouwer Bosch arrives. To top it, Ferdie's attention is focussed on Thomas's mother.
Christmas proceedings is back on track. Danny and Malanie must process their quick engagement. Ferdie and Koba gets opposition from Thomas. Bouwer Bosch is excited about his performance.
- Ferdie Kruger is the manager of boutique hotel The Fransen. The Lourier hotel group buys this rough diamond as their latest acquisition and sends Thomas from the head office to monitor the transition.
