Iraq, 1995. Iraq survives the Gulf War but is crippled economically, with the UN refusing to lift sanctions unless Saddam co-operates with their weapons inspectors. Saddam insists he has nothing to hide, resulting in a stand-off between him and the Un's chief inspector. Saddam shows signs that he is becoming unstable, as he claims to be a descendant of Mohammed and has the Koran written in his own blood.
