The Office, Goodbye, Michael Part 1

During Jim and Pam's daughter's christening, Michael becomes upset over the lack of family-like unity between himself and his employees. So he responds by impulsively joining a teenage church mission to Mexico.

Michael sabotages Erin's "Glee" viewing party because of his contempt for Gabe, Jim and Pam discover that Dwight can keep their daughter from crying, and Andy has a bad reaction to a mixture of wine and a Japanese stimulant.

Some co-workers who invested in Ryan's Internet venture want him to sell, but Michael refuses. Meanwhile, Jim loses his motivation to work when he reaches his commission cap, and Dwight creates a hay festival in the parking lot.

Pam stands up to Dwight when he makes cutbacks to save money in the building, but will Dwight have the last laugh? Meanwhile, the office is surprised and energized when Michael outsmarts Oscar in a debate about China.

Michael throws an elaborate Christmas party to celebrate Holly's temporary return to the Scranton branch but is disappointed when he learns she still has a boyfriend.

Michael could not be happier when Toby has to take a leave of absence, and corporate sends Holly Flax to cover for him. Pam is forced to do a second Christmas party after Michael wants the party to be on the day Holly returns.

Continuing from the previous episode, Michael gets upset when Holly returns without an engagement ring but is still together with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Pam tries to help her co-workers keep up with their New Year's resolutions.

With Andy's sales at his lowest ever, he gets desperate and holds a small seminar with some special guests. Michael and Holly turn the event into an improv challenge. Meanwhile, Erin enlists some coworkers in her battle with Gabe.

When Jim gets an emergency phone call from Helene, he is forced to leave Michael in a gas station's bathroom. Meanwhile, Holly, Erin and Dwight embark on a journey to find Michael. Back at the office, Pam's artwork starts a contest.

Holly and Michael's relationship continues to blossom. It's Valentine's Day in the Office, and the PDA between Michael and Holly is making everyone uncomfortable. The aftermath of a bottomless champagne lunch causes complications for Jim.

After eleven years of writing, shooting, re-shooting and editing, Michael is finally ready to present his long-awaited movie to his coworkers and love interest, Holly. But is he prepared for their reactions?

After years and motel rooms, Dunder Mifflin travelling salesman Todd Packer is ready to leave the road behind and take a desk job in the office. After his computer freezes for the millionth time, Andy battles office administrator Pam.

Michael makes fast friends with the man coming in to replace him at Dunder Mifflin but later begins to have second thoughts after seeing him in action.

Michael hosts his final "Dundies" as the boss at the Scranton branch, but the tension is in the air, and Deangelo Vickers, the new boss, is having trouble with his co-hosting duties.

Michael trains Deangeleo to take over the job of hosting the Dundie Awards. Erin struggles with disliking her boyfriend, Gabe.

Michael, about to leave for Colorado, wants a day without drama to say his goodbyes to each co-worker. Deangelo and Andy scramble to keep Michael's biggest clients.

In part two, tensions rise, and feelings are hurt when Deangelo creates an "inner circle" at the office composed only of men.

Deangelo's true management style is finally revealed.

Dwight takes over as acting manager and applies draconian tactics to the office. Meanwhile, Gabe tries to win Erin back.

In the season finale, the Scranton branch puts together a search committee to find the next boss, but the pool of interviewees proves to be less than impressive, and Dwight demands an interview despite his gun accident.

In part two of the season finale, Jim heads a search committee interviewing candidates, including Andy and Darryl. Dwight tries to get back in the race.
