Red Kingdom, Episode 1

Akua alternates between two naïve, uneducated rivals, Ato and Mokoa, unaware of Ato’s true intentions, as their relationship lacks a clear direction or defined commitment.

Akua escapes near rape in the bush and rises to become the chosen wife of the King, transforming her fate dramatically.

Ato grows melodramatic, realizing the tough battles ahead to win back Akua. Meanwhile, King Biadom takes a sensational approach in his quest to capture Akua’s heart completely.

Akua invites Ato and Mokoa to a feast, using the moment to announce her decision to marry King Biadom. As the King celebrates, Serebour, the heir to the throne, arrives suddenly.

Akua marries King Biadom against all odds but remains unaware of his plight. She struggles to understand why, five days into their marriage; the King still refuses to touch her.

After interrogating Agala, the King’s bodyguard, about the King's itinerary and health, Akua warns him, saying, “We never had this conversation, and our paths never crossed.”
