As preparations are made to bury a beloved matriarch, tensions are high. Tiny is trying to secure an important deal. Tshepiso's wife is dispatched to arrange a deal with a corrupt politician.
Faced with the reality of what they have done, Thembelihle and Tshepiso struggle to deal with their guilt.
After receiving a beat down for challenging his father in his own home, Samora leaves the house vowing never to return.
Thembelihle and Mike start to take a deeper look at Xola, and discover she has been lying to Ma E.
Thembelihle collapses while helping to save Samora's life and makes a stunning discovery, she is pregnant.
Thembelihle miscarries. This tragic loss forces Tshepiso & Bassie to deal with their own issues. They decide to try and save their marriage but Thembelihle must stay out of their lives.
When Ma E visits Thandiwe's son to pay his respects this leads to conflict with Bridget who feels Ma E is stealing her husband's shine.
Mothusi chases after his increasingly demanding and reckless younger girlfriend. And then, inevitably, he is caught and faces a life and death situation.
Thembelihle is in love and quite surprised to be so happy. Without her best friend to confide in, she finds herself sharing that intimacy with her Gogo, who surprisingly approves.
As Mike is buried with a classic Gangsta send off, Ma E is determined to find Caesar and deliver OG justice himself.
Tiny now knows the truth about Bridget and Caesar. He knows she has betrayed him and knows what that betrayal has cost them all.
Having discovered the shocking truth Thembelihle struggles to process. She turns to Gogo, the keeper of family secrets and speaker of truth, who confirms everything Tiny has said.
