Caroline chases Steve away. Feeling sorry for him, Candy escorts Steve and develops strong feelings for him. After receiving a promotion, Caroline is required to offer herself to the boss.
Caroline puts aside her quarrel with Candy over Steve and decides to find a job for her in her office. Candy is offered the same terms as Caroline.
Steve takes Jacob's daughters to the club to celebrate Caroline's promotion and Candy to get the job.
Steve is sick at the hospital, and Caroline accuses Candy of sleeping with Steve. Steve's mother is more attracted to Candy to be her in-law. Candy's family steps away from her.
Caroline plans to catch Kendrick and Nuru so that they can break up. Love causes Mr Jacob to change Diana's life. Steve's mother doesn't want Caroline and accepts Candy.
Caroline's plans destroy Nuru and Kendrick's relationship. Mr Jacob's affair makes Caroline's mum uncomfortable. Mr Jacob wants to know why Candy quit the job, but the family hides Caroline's secret.
The sisters look after Nana while Mr Jacob blames them for their silence. Diana starts a new lavish life. Candy falls deeply in love with Steve. Kendrick is still fighting for his love for Nuru.
Nuru finds out about Caroline's trap. She starts a war with her and gets Kendrick back. Kendrick plans to marry Nuru while John is preparing for a fight. Steve decides to leave Candy.
Caroline plans to break Candy and Steve's relationship. While Kendrick and Nuru's wedding becomes Caroline's nightmare, Nuru finds peace between them. Candy is winning Steve's mum's heart.
Kendrick is having a bachelor party with Isabella. Caroline's trap fails, and wedding plans continue as Caroline plans another trap.
When Kendrick delays getting to church on his wedding day, the priest postpones the wedding and continues with the funeral mass.
Kendrick and Nuru get married, and the pregnant woman Caroline planted to destroy the wedding arrives late. Nuru gets pains and decides to go inside the church, where she disappears.
