How do I sign in to Showmax?

Sign in on your Smart TV or DStv Explora Ultra

There are two ways to sign in to Showmax on your Smart TV: by entering your Showmax email address on your Smart TV, or by scanning the QR code.

 

Using your email address

1. Open the Showmax app on your Smart TV.
2. Enter your Showmax email address and password using the on-screen keyboard.
3. Press OK.

 

You're now signed in and ready to start streaming!

 

Scanning the QR code

1. Open the Showmax app on your Smart TV.
2. Select Too much to type? to activate on your phone.
3. Scan the on-screen QR code using your smartphone camera, or open www.showmax.com/activate on another device.
4. Sign in to Showmax on your phone when prompted, using your Showmax email address and password.
5. Enter the code which is displayed on your Smart TV.
6. Select Continue.

 

Your TV screen will refresh, and you'll be signed in, ready to start streaming!

 

Good to know: You'll have 15 minutes to enter the code displayed on your Smart TV before it expires.

 

Sign in on the Showmax App

1. Open the Showmax App on your device.
2. Select Sign In.
3. Enter your email address and password, or sign in using your mobile number.
4. Select Sign In.

 

You're now signed in and ready to start streaming!

 

Sign in on Showmax.com

1. Go to Showmax.com.
2. In the nav bar, Select Sign In.
3. Enter your email address and password, or sign in using your mobile number.
4. Select Sign In.

 

You're now signed in and ready to start streaming!

 

Good to know: If you don't see a sign in option when you open the Showmax.com, this means you're already signed in! You can start streaming, or sign out to sign in with a different account.
